Fairfield By Marriott Kathmandu Hotel

The hotel was barely up to par, like, cleanliness was a complete disaster. Disgusting stains on the toilet seat, and the staff was utterly hopeless. I wondered if a complimentary gesture would have been too much to ask for my troubles. Absolutely a shame since i almost thought i'd give a good review, but just couldn't.

Breakfast was great and sensational, liked the position.

The location was particularly good for exploring this busy area, not far from the Garden of Dreams, center, and the hectic Kathmandu. It took 5 minutes to reach Reliance Trekking Pvt Ltd on foot👌🙂

Had 2 nights in Kathmandu, spent our time here really good. They offered perfect and functional rooms with amenities provided. We were greeted by caring, competent staff.

There were dirty beds, and pretty average views.

The staff provide really good service. The Kava restaurant offers a good breakfast buffet and value for money with their meal packages. The rooms could use more space for comfort, and late check-out policies may feel a bit strict.

Particularly good and magnificent location, just a pleasant stroll away from a lush garden. Perfect and great value for money room with all amenities.

Just a decent option for an overnight stop in Kathmandu with excellent value. The hotel staff helped me find a great local meal when I arrived late in the evening. Bring some snacks if you arrive after hours as the nearby eateries might be closed.

Make use of the nearby convenience store for snacks and essentials to enjoy during your outings or late evenings.

I traveled with my son's family and we all loved the delicious breakfast spread here. The staff were genuinely cute and offered marvelous service during meals. The location is perfect for accessing local attractions in the vibrant Thamel area, made our family outings more enjoyable.

My kids wished the bathroom sizes were bigger.

This hotel is good, and has great wi-fi, a fitness centre, and 24-hour reception. The staff returned my forgotten earpods during my first stay. I highly recommend the breakfast! I'm coming back for a romantic escape.

The location was perfect just a short walk to the vibrant Thamel area. The rooms were comfortable providing a relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploration. I appreciated having an ATM on-site which added convenience . The fine city view from my room made every morning brighter.

The shower pressure could use some improvement.

The front desk worked hard to assist with currency exchange, and the smooth check-in. Highly recommend the dinner buffet, especially the tuna curry!
